CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
Submit your interesting, unusual, or otherwise challenging cases for the David B. Falkenstein, MD Fellows Night on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. The sbmission deadline is Friday, March 30, 2018. Preference will be given to cases in which the submitting fellow played a significant role.
 
Please Note: Program slots cannot be held for any institution. In order to be considered, an abstract and all required supporting information must be submitted by March 30, 2018.
 
Presentations will be scored by NYSGE attending members and endoscopy program directors present at the event. The fellow presenting the highest scoring case will be recognized at the 2019 NYSGE Annual Dinner and receive an award. 
 
Email your abstract to: (Submission Instructions Coming Soon). The NYSGE office will confirm your submission. If you do not receive an email confirmation from NYSGE within one business day, please resubmit. 
When submitting a case, please include:
  1. Name of case
  2. Name of presenting fellow* 
  3. Name of institution
  4. Fellow’s email address and cell phone number
  5. Mentor’s name, email address, and cell phone

INTENDED AUDIENCE
Gastroenterologists* and GI Fellows

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Gastroenterologists are frequently exposed to interesting and difficult cases. Presentation and large group discussion of such cases can expose many more physicians to complex cases and improve knowledge and patient management.  In this program, up to eight interesting, unusual, or otherwise challenging cases will be presented by NYSGE fellows and discussed by attendees. Presentations will be scored by NYSGE attending members and endoscopy program directors present at the event. The fellow presenting the highest scoring case will be acknowledged at the 2019 NYSGE Annual Dinner and receive and award.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After attending this program, participants will be able to:
1. Outline the endoscopic evaluation, findings and treatment of challenging cases
2. Analyze the associated radiologic and/or pathologic findings associated with these cases
3. Discuss the clinical presentation, endoscopic management and follow-up of these cases
