Intended Audience
Gastroenterologists and GI Trainees

Course Description
This seminar will showcase innovative and intriguing research studies accepted for oral or poster session presentation at Digestive Disease Week or other events. Both Active and Trainee members of NYSGE are invited to present 5 to 7-minute highlights of their research projects for this program. The course directors will review all submissions and include as many as possible.

Learning Objectives
  • Discuss new research projects and protocols
  • Recognize opportunities to present ongoing research
  • Debate research protocols and methods with project investigators
Call for Submissions
Submission Deadline: Monday, April 5, 2021  
Active and Trainee members of NYSGE who are involved in research activities or giving an oral or poster presentation at Digestive Disease Week or other upcoming events, are invited to submit their project for inclusion in this seminar. To apply, email an abstract and provide all required submission information by the deadline date. 

Submission Instructions:
Email your abstract to all of the following: Tamas Gonda, MD (Tamas.Gonda@nyulangone.org), Jonathan Cohen, MD (cohen.jonathan11@gmail.com), Tina Park, MD (tina.park@mountsinai.org) and the NYSGE Office (info@nysge.org). The office will confirm your submission. If you do not receive an email confirmation from NYSGE within one business day, please resubmit. When submitting a presentation, please include:

1.  Name of presentation
2.  Name of presenter* 
3.  Name of institution
4.  Presenter’s email address and cell phone number
5.  Note if presentation will be given at DDW, another event (specify), or neither 

*All presenters must be members of NYSGE. Membership is complimentary for trainees, but a brief application is required. If you have any questions about your membership status or need additional information, please contact us at info@nysge.org.
