The Program for Endoscopic Teachers (PET) is a train-the-trainers course designed for teachers and leaders of endoscopic training programs. It's an ideal program or anyone who has substantial endoscopy-teaching responsibilities. The PET course is viewed by national and international leaders as an essential component of faculty development for all academic institutions interested in strengthening the endoscopy-teaching skills of its faculty.
The one and one-half day PET program is designed to impart the skills needed by teachers of gastrointestinal endoscopy. The focus is both on structural and organizational issues for training programs and on the principles and techniques which lead to excellence in the endoscopy-teaching skills of faculty members. The program includes didactic presentations, small group breakout discussions, and hands-on instruction on the use of simulators for teaching endoscopy.
Our distinguished faculty includes experts in the teaching of gastrointestinal endoscopy from the United States and Canada.
