Course Description
In this session we will review the reasons for and implications of the rising incidence of colon surgery for benign polyps, review the superior safety and efficacy of endoscopic approaches to complex polyps, and discuss strategies that we as the gastroenterology community can implement to reduce the need for surgical referral for “refractory polyps”.
