Course Description
This course will provide an overview of the diagnosis and management of Clostridioides difficile infection. Material presented will include both conservative and novel therapeutic options for the management of C. difficile infection.

Learning Objectives
  • To improve interpretation of multistep algorithms used in the diagnosis of C. difficile infection
  • To gain an improved understanding of recommended treatments used for the management of initial, recurrent and fulminant C. difficile infection
  • To better understand the role and indications for fecal microbiota transplantation in the management of C. difficile infection
