COURSE DESCRIPTION
This program will consist of three lectures on contemporary topics in IBD, each framed by case discussions pertinent to the content. Each talk will be designed to provide updated information on recent therapies and modern management strategies aimed at improving the quality of care for IBD patients. Following the lectures, there will be a panel discussion.
 
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • Discuss the biological and mechanistic pathways underscoring new therapies used for IBD and review the data from the development program of these agents
  • Review the data pertaining to fecal microbiota transplant and microbiome manipulation in IBD
  • Recognize state-of-the-art strategies for dysplasia screening and newer modalities used in the detection of dysplasia in IBD
