The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Medical Center in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.
The Gastroenterology and Hepatology Service at Health + Hospitals/Kings County is looking to expand its current services, and is seeking an additional full time Advanced Endoscopist.
Contribute to the delivery of inpatient GI consultation and inpatient endoscopy services
Participate in outpatient GI consultation and endoscopy services
Perform advanced endoscopic procedures including but not limited to Endoscopic Ultrasound,
Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography, Deep Enteroscopy, Endoluminal Stenting,
Complex Polypectomy, and Endobariatrics
Supervise and mentor gastroenterology fellows and medicine residents assigned to the
gastroenterology and hepatology service
Partake in weekend and evening call coverage for gastroenterology services at H+H/Kings
County and SUNY Downstate Medical Center (call 1 in 8)
Academic appointment at SUNY Downstate Medical Center
Current licensed NY State registration (or the ability to obtain one)
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship
Graduate from approved Medical School
